Alana Peterson is the Executive Director of Spruce Root, a Community Development Financial Institution in Southeast Alaska. Born and raised in Sitka, Alana is Tlingit — a Raven of the Luknahadi (Coho) clan. Her commitment to community and economic development was fostered during her service as a small business development volunteer in the Peace Corps Peru from 2009-2011. Alana is a small business owner and enjoys spending time outdoors with her three kids, spouse and two dogs.
