Outreach Fellow

This position is part of the Alaska Fellows Program. The Sitka fellows cohort of seven lives together, “in community,” in a shared house near downtown Sitka.
Outer Coast seeks an Outreach Fellow to help build the relationships — philanthropic, programmatic, and administrative — that Outer Coast needs to operate day-to-day and grow sustainably into the future. The Outreach Fellow will strategically communicate the message, mission, and impact of Outer Coast to different audiences and stakeholders. This work helps recruit students, build partnerships, secure donations — among much else — for the organization as a whole. Examples of the work involved are: writing grant applications, emailing with prospective students and teachers, pitching Outer Coast to promising partner organizations to recruit students, and interviewing Outer Coast alumni to create student profiles for our website.
Program Operations Fellow

This position is part of the Alaska Fellows Program. The Sitka fellows cohort of seven lives together, “in community,” in a shared house near downtown Sitka.
The Program Operations fellowship offers a unique opportunity to dream big about the possibilities of innovative higher education. This position supports the day-to-day program operations of the 2025-2026 academic year, including frequent collaboration with faculty, student support staff, and Student Body committees. In addition to being part of an exciting and flourishing educational institution, you will gain a wide breadth of practical skills in program operations — such as project management, research, and strategic planning — applicable across a variety of educational contexts and professional sectors.
