Through the three pillars of academics, service & labor, and self-governance, Outer Coast programs engage the whole student.

At Outer Coast, students develop tools and mindsets they need to effect change in their own lives, and for the world at large. They do so by immersing themselves in rigorous and dynamic academic courses that prepare them to matriculate to and graduate from college, engaging in service to the Sitka community, and collaborating within a diverse and empowered cohort of young leaders to shape their own community — and the future of Outer Coast — together.
