Through a need-blind admissions process and a holistic assessment of each student’s financial circumstance, we are committed to ensuring that cost is never a barrier to attendance for any student admitted to the Summer Seminar or the Outer Coast Year.

Outer Coast offers full, means-based scholarships for students with demonstrated financial need.
The fully-loaded cost of attendance (inclusive of tuition, room and board, books, and all other expenses) is as follows:
- Summer Seminar: $6,500
- Outer Coast undergraduate program: $45,000/year
Cost of Attendance Process
After your admission to Outer Coast, you will be asked to complete a brief Cost of Attendance form. We do not ask for the FAFSA or any other external financial reporting.
Our team will review your cost of attendance form and calculate an estimated cost of attendance based on your and your family’s financial means.
We will set up a conversation with you and your family to discuss and confirm your cost of attendance, as well as any other financial support you might need, including travel, work-study, or stipends for miscellaneous expenses. Payment plans may be available upon request.
