All 2020-2021 Year students took a year-long Indigenous Studies course with faculty member Dionne Brady-Howard, and during the Spring Semester, they embarked on a process to each make their own qaspeq.

Much generosity made the project possible, with community members lending sewing machines, expertise, and materials to the effort. Sitkan Rachel Moreno, alongside several MEHS students, came to campus to lead the workshop.
